Poszukiwania odpowiedniego klasyka trwały 3 miesiące. Przez ten czas obejrzałem mnóstwo Mustangów, ale najbardziej zależało mi na Fastbacku z 1967 roku.
W grudniu 2014 roku znalazłem dokładnie to czego szukałem:

Cena: 200 000 zł
Auto wymagało wiele pracy, aby przywrócić mu stan z lat świetności. Dokładnie trwało to pół roku.
Pracę zacząłem od renowacji silnika.
Większość części została wymieniona na oryginalne zamienniki.
Cały wykaz:
Wymienione wszystkie uszczelki, włącznie z głównym oszczelnieniem walu,
Odmalowany blok silnika, wypiaskowane kolektory dolotowe (Edelbrok) i wydechowe,
Wypiaskowane i pomalowane pokrywy zaworów (Edelbrok),
Nowy cztero-gardzielowy gaźnik (Edelbrok),
Nowa pompa oleju i pompa wody,
Nowy łańcuch rozrządu,
Wymienione wszystkie filtry: powietrza, oleju, paliwa,
Nowy: świece, przewody, cewka zapłonowa, akumulator, dystrybutor.
Kolejnym krokiem było odnowienie komory silnika.
Równolegle trwały prace nad wnętrzem klasyka.
Aby samochód oddawał oryginalny stan zadbałem o każdy szczegół. Cała tapicerka została wymieniona na nową. Cała konsola środkowa została rozebrana i odmalowana. Tak samo jak boczki, drzwi a nawet wnętrze bagażnika, w którym została położona nowa mata z oryginalnym wzorem.
Zamontowane zostały również nowe: klamki, lusterka (wewnętrzne i zewnętrzne) , podsufitka, zegary, cała deska rozdzielcza, wszystkie wskaźniki przetestowane, wszystkie lampki.
Elementów, które wymagały nowego polakierowania też nie odpuściłem.
Podłoga została odnowiona tak samo jak cały sportowy układ wydechowy zaczynając od samego silnika (headers).
Klasyk już został wysłany do Polski, gdzie zostanie profesjonalnie polakierowany w oryginalnym kolorze „Nightmist Blue”.
Podsumowując. Włożyłem w niego bardzo dużo pracy i serca, dzięki czemu jego stan można oceniać jako „Show Car”.
W Polsce zrobiliśmy blacharkę i położyliśmy nowy lakier.

We have been searching for the right classic for approximately 3 months. During that time I had a chance to inspect lots of different Mustangs, but I was the most interested in finding a 67 Fastback.
In December 2014 I finally found exactly what I was looking for.

Year: 1967
Engine: V8/4,7l(289ci)/200KM
Color: Nightmist Blue
Price: 47 500 EUR
The car needed a lot of work to turn it back into original condition. It took me a half a year to do all the mechanical work and interior.
First things first. I started with the most exciting part – the engine.
Most of the engine components were replaced with original replacements, everything cleaned up really good and painted. Complete list you can find below:
All new seals including the rear main seal.
Engine block painted classic Dark Ford Blue, sand basted intake manifold (Edelbrok) and exhaust headers, Sand blasted and painted valve covers.
New 4BBL Edelbrok carburetor
New oil pump and new water pump
New timing chain
All new filters: oil, air, fuel
New: spark plugs, distributor, alternator, battery.
The next step was to refresh the engine compartment, which was a very time consuming job.
In parallel to that, when I wanted to take a break and work on something more attractive I started making some progress on the interior. Every detail needed to look perfect. Entire upholstery was replaced with brand new material. Whole center console was disassembled, refreshed, painted and put back together. The same with doors and even the trunk, which was finished with the original pattern trunk matt. Mustang received new door handles, window handles, mirrors inside and outside, new headliner, instrument cluster together with the side panels, all gauges has been tested as well as all the lights and controls.
In few days the car will be shipped to Poland, where it will receive a professional new paint job in original color “Nighmist Blue”.
Summarizing, I put a lot of heart and work in making that car look as it used to when it came out from the factory. I’m sure the new owner will not be disappointed and will enjoy the car for years.[:de]Mustang Fastback 1967 Nightmist Blue
Die Suche nach dem entsprechenden Klassiker hat 3 Monaten gedauert. Während dieser Zeit habe ich eine Unmenge von Mustangs angeschaut, aber am meisten gefiel mir das Modell aus Baujahr 1967.
Im Dezember 2014 habe ich genau das gefunden, was ich gesucht habe:

Das Auto hat viel Arbeit erfordert, um einen Fabrikzustand wiederherzustellen. Es hat genau ein halbes Jahr gedauert.
Zunächst begann die Arbeit mit der Reparatur des Motors.
Der Großteil wurde durch originale Ersatzteile ausgetauscht.
Zusammenstellung:
Austausch aller Dichtungen, samt mit dem Hauptwelle,
Neu lackiert den Motorblock, sandgestrahlte Ansaugstutzen (Edelbrock) und Abgaskrümmer,
sandgestrahlte und neu lackierte Ventildeckel (Edelbrock),
Der neue 4fache Vergaser (Edelbrock),
Neue Ölpumpe und Wasserpumpe,
Neue Steuerkette,
Luftfilter, Öl Filter und Kraftstofffilter aufgeführt
Neue: Kerzen, Drähte, Zündspule, Batterie und Verteiler
Die Ausmalung des Motors war der nächste Schritt
Im Anschluss wurde der Motor erneuert und in der Zwischenzeit wurde der Innenraum des Autos überarbeitet. Um einen Neuzustand beziehungsweise einen Fabrikzustand wiederherzustellen, habe ich mich um alle Kleinigkeiten gekümmert. Das komplette Polstermaterial wurde neu umgetauscht.
Die Konsole wurde auseinander montiert und von innen ausgemalt. So wie Seiten der Türen und sogar innere des Kofferraums in dem wurde eine neue Matte mit dem ursprünglichen Modell gelegt.
Es wurde auch neu eingebaut: Türgriffen, Rück und Innenspiegel, Dachhimmel, Autouhren, das ganze Armaturenbrett, alle Lichter.
Die Elemente, die einen neuen Lack erfordert haben, hab ich auch ausgemalt. Der Boden wurde renoviert, so wie der Sport Auspuffanlage und der Motor (headers)
Nach ein paar Tagen wird der Klassiker nach Polen transportiert und professionell in der originalen Farbe lackiert „Nightmist Blue“
Zusammenfassend habe ich in das Auto sehr viel Arbeit und Herz investiert, deshalb kann der Zustand praktisch als neu betrachtet werden. Ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass der neue Besitzer des Fastbacks in keinster Art und Weise enttäuscht sein wird, da das Fastback langfristig einen sehr guten Nutzen gewährleisten wird.[:]
